Gum blossoms, all summer long, are such a dream. Their delicate flowers swarm with native bees, they collect delicate drops of dew overnight and are furiously feasted upon by lorikeets. They're quintessentially Australian, and quite simply, utterly delightful. This is my best ever gum blossom drawing which took a whole year to finish.
